Greetings! I'm Brandan Oates, a software trainer in the healthcare IT industry based out of the Madison, Wisconsin area.
With a passion for helping others learn how to use technology, I currently help clinicans efficiently use their electronic health record (EHR) so they can focus on what matters most: caring for their patients. Prior to this work, I served for 5 years as a middle school business/computer teacher, while also working part-time as a university lecturer in college success. I earned my master's degree in Teaching & Learning and my bachelor's degree in Business Education, both from Illinois State University. Although I'm surrounded by Cheeseheads, this Illinois native is a fan of the Da Bears, enjoys a loaded Chicago-style hot dog, and, of course, can appreciate the tumultuous Midwest weather. Cheese curds and Kwik Trip have now earned a place in my heart as well. |
